Description Lynne Kues CLA 2002-11-13 16:49:08 EST
Build 20021113

Note this is Windows XP.

Open a Java Perspective.
Open a Java Browsing Perspective.
Switch back and forth between the two.

On my XP machine I can visibly see the menu bar "shrink" as menu items are
removed, then "expand" as menu items are added. It actually looks like it's
animated. Anyway, very noticeable and somewhat strange since I'm switching
between two perspectives that have the same base menus (i.e., the menu bar for
each perspective is the same).

What machine do you have?
Comment 2 Lynne Kues CLA 2002-11-14 10:35:28 EST
Slow I guess <g> P2, 400 mhz, 640 RAM. Even so, what I am seeing is new
behavior. When I do the same thing on an end of October build, I do not see
the all the flashiness.

If this is a regression, this needs to be fixed for M3.

Fix released in the HEAD stream. Will be included in the M3 build.
Changes on MenuManager.java
Comment 5 Nick Edgar CLA 2002-11-15 10:20:29 EST
Was released for M3.
