Description anatoly techtonik CLA 2009-01-23 05:57:15 EST
It would be convenient to have search dialog shortcut (Ctrl-H or other bound combination without conflicts) to switch tabs in it.

Sorry, we don't provide key bindings for things that are supplied by your OS.

Namely Ctrl+PageUp / Ctrl+PageDown.

Thanks for support, but it seems you've missed the main point - use the same shortcut that opens search dialog to switch to required type of search.

The problem with platform keys is that you need both arms to open required search dialog. Some siemens laptops do not have left ctrl at all.

Can you confirm that you are refusing to add such usability feature because there is other inconvenient way to do this provided by platform?

We will not do this but if you really want this you can provide a patch.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
