Description Nick Edgar CLA 2001-10-10 22:39:59 EDT
- open a large compilation unit, e.g. org.eclipse.ui.views.tasklist/TaskList.java.
- scroll and move the cursor down to the bottom
- close the outline view if open
- open the outline view
- in the editor, the cursor has moved back to the top

Presumably this occurs because the first item in the outline is selected.
It is the package declaration, which occurs on the first line.

Opening and closing views should not affect the cursor or selection in editors.

NOTES:

NE (07/18/01 3:03:00 PM)
	Probably not Java-specific.
	Moved to ITPUI.
