Open a .bmp file in the workbench; it opens Paint in place. Close the editor without making any changes. It prompts you to save your changes. NOTES: JEM (7/4/2001 10:14:18 AM) On a related note, if I do make changes and select "File->Save" it saves correctly. If I just close the editor and select "Yes" when asked to save changes, I get an error dialog saying that the file cannot be saved.
PRODUCT VERSION: 0.9
Tod, pls verify that we are calling SWT API to determine if the file is dirty. If it is always returning true for .bmp files pls move this defect report to SWT.
This is a known problem with all OLE editors. There is currently no way to know if they are dirty or not so we always show them dirty so as to be sure that we lose no changes.
Noted.
