Description Krzysztof Daniel CLA 2008-11-19 05:24:57 EST
"Menu option that automatically exports all projects, moves current
workspace to a backup new, recreates clean workspace and imports all
projects.
I might be able to achieve this with ant scripting, but since it seams
that the workspace issue is a common thing and that it is either impossible
to recreate the errors that led to a corrupt workspace or impossible to fix
a corrupt workspace, I would like this thing an Menu option or key shortcut within the workspace."

Hi, could I get a status on whether this request will/won't be considered for a future release?

As per http://wiki.eclipse.org/Platform_UI/Bug_Triage_Change_2009

No one is looking at this. AFAIK there is a core tool rebuild a workspace: http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/platform-core/downloads.php

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
