[from Jeremy E. Denton] Right clicking on an item in the file list (say for selecting the properties of a project) will not generate the context menu for the item the mouse is hovering over. It creates the context menu for the previously selected item. In other words, it doesn't select the new item first and then generate the list. A little annoying when you have to "left-click" on an item and then "right click" on it later.
Felipe to investigate and advise (the widget is the emulated tree). Low priority because we hope to use the native tree in future.
works for me on Motif (note, since it's an emulated widget it should be the same all over the platforms). There is nothing to be fix in the emulated tree.

I have noticed the same annoying behaviour in Motif i.e. you have to left-click (after right-clicking an item) and THEN right click to get the proper context menu. This was noticed in the Extensions pane of the plug-in manifest editor. Found in: OS: HP-UX 11.11. Eclipse: V2.1 Build Id: 200302061700 (M5)
This is also the case in the java editor. Right clicking on an item will not move the cursor, so requiring the left click-right click shuffle. OS Win XP . WSAD 5.0 Build. 20021125_2118
The original problem no longer occurs in I20030520. OK to close.
fixed with the new Tree.
