- new workbench
- new simple project
- new file test.doc
- it opens an OLE editor using Word (or Wordpad if you don't have Office installed)
- close the editor
- choose Open With / System Editor
- it opens Word (or WordPad) as a separate application
- you can no longer get it to open as an OLE editor

- same if you do Open With / Default Editor

This is now possible as the Default Editor option has been added.
