Description Scott Ellis CLA 2008-10-09 18:33:13 EDT
Build ID: I20080617-2000

Steps To Reproduce:
1. open Project Explorer and navigate down into the tree (e.g. find a deeply nested file and click to select it)
2. close eclipse (saving workspace)
3. reopen the same workspace

Result -> the project explorer tree is totally collapsed with no selection.

Sometimes you will see it first open to the correct expansion state, but just in a flash before it collapses.
This happens whether or not the "link editor" toggle button is selected.

All the other tree views such as Navigator and Package Explorer restore state properly in this scenario so I think it is a bug in Project Explorer.

As I recall the Project Explorer is implemented in terms of Common Navigator.

Sounds like a dup of bug 149000.
