	i have to select the 'show version info' thing everytime i start the workbench

	known limitation.

	there is currently no mechanism that I'm aware of that allows a view to persist
	state for a contribute tool item.

	Opened 1GKDH4V: ITPUI:ALL - View settings should be able to be persistent
	asking for the framework to support persistence. Everyone on the SWT team
	wants Show Version Info to be persistent <g>.

	Happened to notice that the ".*" filter setting is persistent.
	I always turn it off when I get a fresh drop and clean out my target.
	It stays off.
	So if it helps any, there is at least one view setting that is persistent.

This will occur when the Show Version Info decorator is released using the new 
Decorators mechanism.
