Description James Moody CLA 2008-09-19 13:07:58 EDT
Steps To Reproduce:
The cascading parameter groups in BIRT allow only a single path of cascades. For example, A->B->C. There are many cases where we have parameters that cascade to multiple child parameters. For example, A->B and A->C, but there is no way of modeing that with BIRT since a parameter in a cascading group can only have a single child.

I think this is important, since the only way to work around this is to have *two* groups (A->B and A->C) which forces the user to select the value for "A" twice, and cannot constrain that the same value must be selected in both cases. Aside from that, it's just confusing for the user.

This requires changes in ROM schema.

A good feature to add, but we can not committ to 2.5.0 release at this point. Change target to future and keeping the key word plan to be considered for future releases.
