I would like to run the server tests on WebSphere 6.1 (including the EJB3 fixpack). I am at the stage where i see the JPA EntityManagerFactory bootstrap code that class loads eclipselink.jar. A shared-lib setup is required via admin console or jython script. There already is a jython script to set this up but it is missing from the trunk because it is referenced from a user-defined extension.lib.external directory. The jython script referenced in eclipselink.jpa.test/websphere.properties is missing from the trunk dir.. was.jython.scripts.dir=../../../extension.lib.external in websphere.xml target "websphere-setup" <copy overwrite="true" file="${was.jython.scripts.dir}/configWebSphere.py" tofile="${was.home}/bin/configWebSphere.py"/> Action: ------------ Either check in the configWebSphere.py script or reference it in websphere.properties (via mayble a bug attachment) so that the user can run the script during deployment. thank you
This work is already in the queue - it is just waiting on a CQ for bug# 238842 /michael
See checkin as part of manual testing config in rev 3821 http://fisheye2.atlassian.com/changelog/eclipselink/?cs=3821
This bug fix did not make the cut off for 2.0.0. We are deferring the bugs to Future where we can properly sort them all together based on community votes and severity. We will then assign them accordingly to future patch sets and releases.
Changing the priority of the bugs that have been recently triaged to future. Targetting them to P2 will differentiate them from the P3s that have been triaged into future earlier.
Running JPA tests on WebSphere 6.1 is no longer supported in our nightly scripts, the config.py along with the other two config py files are in process of CQ.
