Steps To Reproduce:
Hi,

If I start the Run Configuration the first time it takes approx. 22 seconds to open, a too long time in my opinion.

If I start it the second time it takes approx. 3 sec. still a long time.

Is their a way to improve this? Do you have a mean to measure the reason for the long delays in Eclipse? I measured the times with a stop clock.

This is a dupe of bug 229073. And this is PDE/UI, not Platform/Runtime, and 3.4, not 4.0! Anyway, thanks for reporting, Lars! :-)
