I have implemented the CTabFolder to support a control in the top left, similar to the functionality that allows a control in the top right. I used the existing CTabFolder code to implement a new class that has changes to the original CTabFolder code. A few other classes were replicated to maintain the existing functionalities of CTabFolder. These include CTabFolder2Listener, CTabFolderEvent, CTabFolderLayout, CTabFolderListener, CTabItem. I also modified the presentation classes to support the new CTabFolder. I also made enhancements to allow additional behaviors for the CTabItem: gradient colors for hover and highlight states. I am willing to share the code with open source. Please advise.

Ok, the title of this bug report is wrong then. The title says something about a top left control but the source you attached is a copy of CTabFolder. I was kind of expecting a patch that did only the "left control" functionality that could be applied to CTabFolder. Given that you have a copy of the code with multiple changes, does it make sense for us to fix only the top left control? If we implemented only that functionality, you would still have a copy of the code. Should we change the title of this bug report to say "multiple enhancements to CTabFolder" or something like that to capture the changes you made?
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
