When I select "all submissions" I get the message: SQL Trouble: No database selected
I am guessing this bug has something to do with bug #243040. Since last Friday we have been having some issues with database connectivity.
With the reboot of the server that holds this db it looks like a route was removed. I've re-added it and everything looks like it's gone back to normal. -M.
Sorry closed the wrong bug. Based on the data in the localsettings file this is an issue with the localhost itself. -M.
Matt, None of the code changed late last week or over the weekend, so how did this break? And do you have any advice on fixing it? You say it is an issue with the local host, but what about it? Does it have the wrong passwords for connection to a database? I don't have access to the box so the only testing I can do is to check something in and hope it works. Karl is on vacation or I would just bug him. Any information you could give me would be super helpful.
Well, I'm not quite sure what happened, but it looks like the access permissions were bad/damaged/deleted, which is strange because I don't see any evidence that anyone on the webmaster team was altering anything recently. I've recreated the permissions and everything looks good now. -M.
I just took a look at the submission system pages and everything looks good. I didn't submit a talk, but everything short of that work just as it should. I am marking this bug as fixed, thanks Matt!
Everything is working, so marking as closed.
