Graphic showing current iconised view of multiple workspaces

I have up to 5 workspaces open at any one time, and I would dearly love to be able to identify the workspace via a colour or icon (anything) that allow me to identify which toolbar icon refers to which workspace, rather than having to, potentially, clicking on each to bring that window to the front.

At the moment the current view becomes the title of the iconised window. Unfortunately, for me at least, most of my workspaces are different checkouts of the same code, and the titles, invariably, do not differ that much.

Cheers

Rob

Changing Version tag to something more believable. Note that this is not a statement about when the enhancement request will be addressed (the Target Milestone field is used for that); the Version tag should be set to the version of Eclipse you were using when you saw the need for the enhancement.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
