Description Christian Saalfrank CLA 2008-07-04 12:50:14 EDT
As far as I understand, annotation types are assigned to different presentation layers, which are used to decide in which order annotations are drawn on the overview ruler in case they overlap or even are at the same position. E.g. error annotations are always shown on top of warning annotations.

Now, occurrence annotations are assigned to a lower level which often causes them to be hidden behind errors or warnings. This lets the occurrence feature become worthless in code with errors and warnings. Hence, I would appreciate it very much, if the assignment of annotation types to presentation layers was configurable.
