Description Kevin Haaland CLA 2001-10-10 22:34:43 EDT
Saving a locked file in the editor discards all the change.

1. Create a file in Workbench
2. Open the file in MS Word. Now the file is locked.
3. Modify the file in Workbench
4. Close the file. You'll be prompted by the save message asking if you want to save it. Click Yes.
The error message shows and the change is lost.

NOTES:
JEL (14/06/2001 10:28:50 AM)
Should we leave an editor open when a save fails? leaving the user the option to Save As or simply
close without saving.

  Can this defect be closed?

Closed. The editor stays open after the exception occurred.
