Build 20020827. Run Eclipse with a new workspace. You should see the Welcome Editor. Close and restart Eclipse. Still broken for me in build 200210011353 Here is how my shortcut on Win2K is defined: Target: D:\eclipse\eclipse.exe -dev bin -data d:\eclipse-ws\ui-ws -vm d:\eclipse\jre\bin\java.exe Start In: d:\eclipse-ws\ui-ws If you start with a new workspace, run Eclipse, immediately close Eclipse and then restart you get the restore error.
