The menu option Edit/Select All does not work in the navigator, thus no easy way to select all projects.

Consider as a post 2.0 enhancement. Would need to resolve semantics of 
selecting children that are not visisble. Also, the navigator contains more 
than just projects.

No plans to change current behavior. Edit menu is "owned" by the active editor.
