Description Martin Aeschlimann CLA 2008-05-14 06:14:20 EDT
Linux - Open Client 2.1

- Look at a Javadoc hover and give focus to it
- Select words: Nothing read
- use 'tab' to give focus at a link: Nothing read

This is the same in the Firefox browser. So probably not a Eclipse bug. But still a major gap in the accessibility story.

This blocks bug 38710.

I can't reliably reproduce this issue, though there are some holes in the accessibility for Browsers. For example it's hard to get text read, but it's read when selected.

That said, it's best to wait until the Webkit2 port is done in a few weeks. It's likely a lot of accessibility issues in browser will be fixed by that.
