Description Henrik Terävä CLA 2008-05-13 05:25:13 EDT
The most conflict situations seem to occur in plugin.xmi for "resourceDescriptors". These are not categorized or ordered in any matter and when two users add an element (even in separate content packages), the resourceDescriptors will be added to the same place (end of the list) which results in version control conflicts.

ContentElements are grouped in different childpackages and version control merge can automatically handle these well when changes are done in different packages.

As a suggestion, if the resourceDescriptors could be categorized or even ordered (alphabetically etc.), this would make simultaneous plug-in changes much easier to handle.
