On Leopard:

The toggle button in the ControlExample is being read as Checkbox button.

Actually, Windows calls Toggle buttons "check box" also - it's the closest role, and the control behaves like a checkbox. I think this is a "works for me". What happens on GTK?
Comment 2 Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2008-05-14 13:10:29 EDT
Interesting: GTK does say "toggle" - turns out that GTK has a "toggle" role.

Mac and Windows do not have a "toggle" role, so the closest role is "check box". The "checked" and "unchecked" states correspond to "pressed" and "not pressed" states.

So I am going to call this "works for me".
