Description Kevin McGuire CLA 2008-04-29 19:25:56 EDT
build I20080429-0100

1. In package explorer view menu, "Select Working Set..."
2. "New..."
3. Go through wizard, picking type, type in name "X", add a project to it, Finish

Observe: back in the Select Working Set dialog, the newly created working set isn't selected.

Since its checkboxes, we have choice of:

(A) Add it to the set that are selected
(B) Make it the only selected one
(C) Keep current selection/checkbox state (present behaviour)

Although (B) seems like the most comment choice of what I'd be doing (assuming one typically only uses a single working set), (A) has the advantage that it fails by showing more projects/whatever when you return to the package explorer. Since showing more is less confusing than not seeing what I wanted, I'd suggest (A).

Although there clearly isn't a "right" choice, doing (C) doesn't seem to ever be what I want (presumably I created it to use it).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
