The first time the support tray appears, it doesn't appear to resize at all - when content is added to the tray it is still ~20 pixels across, and the user has to manually expand the tray. On subsequent use, the tray resizes horizontally, but not vertically. In our case, the bottom of the support area is cutoff and the user still has to manually resize the dialog.

The patch for bug 227661 fixes this problem too. The issue was that support area was not set for a single status in the dialog. When this "not-set" support tray was opened and than another status (which came in the meantime) was selected, the tray was not resized horizontally. > On subsequent use, the tray resizes horizontally, but not vertically.
