Description Tod Creasey CLA 2002-08-20 11:03:09 EDT
R2.0 GTK

You cannot type any characters with umlats in German GTK in a StyledText.

Use the attached test

STEPS
1) Run the test
2) Type צה into the top (normal) text - no problem
3) Type צה into the bottom (Styled) Text - nothing shows up

TC, did you try this under the latest SWT? SSQ fixed this about 2 weeks ago,
before he went on vacation. Could be he missed a case. SSQ?
Comment 3 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-08-20 16:12:54 EDT
No I tried it in 2.0. I will try again with the latest build.
Comment 4 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-08-21 08:59:06 EDT
Verified fixed in 20020820.
Comment 5 Tod Creasey CLA 2002-08-22 10:08:25 EDT
Reopening for 2.0.1. It works in the 2.1 stream but in the 20020821 build of
2.0.1 the problem still exists.
Comment 6 Silenio Quarti CLA 2002-08-22 10:29:43 EDT
Does this have to be fixed for 2.0.1?
Comment 7 Steve Northover CLA 2002-08-22 10:30:53 EDT
There was no plan to fix this for 2.0.1. Tod, can you find out whether we want
this?
Comment 8 Silenio Quarti CLA 2002-08-30 17:18:43 EDT
Closing this. Fix is not going to applied in 2.0.1.
