Description Robert Mitchell CLA 2002-08-15 12:18:29 EDT
This may well be a duplicate feature request, but if so I can't find it.

I like to run with Eclipse up all the time. Many of the Java files I
work with are not in Eclipse projects. I want to be able to find these
using Microsoft Explore, double click on the file name to invoke the Open
action, and have the file appear in the EClipse Java Editor. Maybe in a
special "External" project. If this worked I could get rid of JBuilder
for good.

This is a more general issue. If we add support we should add it for all Java
files.
Comment 2 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2002-08-19 04:37:25 EDT
The above should read: if we add this feature it should work for all file types
not only for Java files.

Moving to platform for comments
