Steps To Reproduce:
It seems to be impossible, having compared the current version of a file with a different CVS Tag (for example), to create a patch file.  It would be nice if the compare editor had this feature.

Currently patches can only be created against the version of file currently checked out in the workspace. So to create such a patch, the user has to switch Tag / Branch on the given file, make the changes, then do Team -> Create Patch... 

Being able to create patch directly from the Compare editor would be great!
