If a user tries to do a query for available updates and ones of the sites entered is not valid, the search ends as soon as the invalid url is found and non of the other urls are searched. This is especially a problem if an installed feature has given an invalid update tag in it's feature.xml as there is no way to stop the search of this tag - short of editing the feature.xml file and removing the update tag. Steps to recreate: 1) Set up a feature that has an update tag that points to an invalid url 2) bookmark a valid site 3) go to Available Updates and under Scope Settings select only 'Search bookmarked sites' 4) Click 'Search Now' 5) This will fail on the invalid url and not search the valid site
Same is site not available or cancel (error thrown when searching a site should not stop complete search) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 18585 ***
