The launch history should allow developers to group launch configurations in a  folder-like way. Such a group would be created beneath a launch kind, and gather launches of this very kind. It should be possible to nest groups arbitrarily. That would introduce a name space separation, so that launches with same names are possible in different groups. When a launch config is created automatically, the launch should not be assigned to any folder.

This enhancement works well together with issue (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=221144), which then could be enabled to run all launches within a group sequentially.
