While support for unit test frameworks other than JUnit is out of the scope of Mylyn, we would be very happy to support projects wanting to use Mylyn APIs to provide the same sort of support that we have created with our reference implementation for JUnit.

Mike: the corresponding code isn't API and is not documented.  But it should be pretty straightforward to read.  See the org.eclipse.mylyn.internal.java.ui.junit package, or the attached context.  It would be great if you were interested in contributing this!
