In my project we use tab for indentation with size 4, we like this, but it doesn't fit for the JDK source code, which is formatted with indent size 8.

Open any JDK class with source attached you can find the fact.

Therefore it would be nice to specify which code style (at least the indent size) to apply, according to the package which the source being viewed is from.

I think you are rather looking for bug 44700. If that's not the case then bug 119162 describes your request.
