Description Agoston Bejo CLA 2008-01-23 13:53:55 EST
Build ID: I20070625-1500

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Press ctrl+shift+r (open resource)
2. Set 'show derived resources' to TRUE
3. Open a file from a _derived_ directory
4. Close the file
5. Press ctrl+shift+r (open resource) again
6. set 'show derived resources' to FALSE

The file opened earlier from the derived directory will be shown in the list of files although in step 6 you specified that files in derived directories shouldn't be shown.

More information:
This has been introduced with Eclipse 3.3

Note: if you right-click on the file in the list and click 'remove from history', the file won't be shown the next time (provided 'show derived resources' is still set to false). This is not a solution, however, because if I open the file from the derived directory again, the whole thing starts all over again.

Sounds like an unintended consequence of the changes made to the dialog. Please
file a bug report about it - at the Eclipse.org web site click Community and
then Bugs.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
