Description Nick Edgar CLA 2008-01-14 17:38:30 EST
3.3

- in a workspace with many TODO etc tasks, show the Tasks view
- in the Tasks view, create a task
- note that the new task is not shown (it should be)
- scroll to show it
- mark it as done (either by clicking in the checkbox or using the menu item)
- the list refreshes completely, losing the scroll position

Expectation: the item is marked as completed without scrolling the list.

Also noticed that there's no "Unmark as Completed" action, which is probably needed for accessibility.

Similarly, the scroll position is lost when deleting a task.
This is a regression - in previous versions of the view we took a lot of pains to ensure that scrolling was as stable as possible when changes were made.

As per http://wiki.eclipse.org/Platform_UI/Bug_Triage_Change_2009

The markers view has undergone several changes since 3.3. I could not reproduce this in recent builds.

Marking as WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if it is reproducible in newer builds(3.6).
