Description Carolyn MacLeod CLA 2007-12-13 16:22:15 EST
None of the SWT Dialog classes are accessible on Mac OS X
(only MessageBox is ok).

This is because they are implemented using Carbon dialogs, and it looks like Apple has not made them accessible.

ColorDialog is not accessible at all.
FontDialog is not accessible at all.
DirectoryDialog, FileDialog, and PrintDialog are partially accessible.

Scott, do you know if there are any plans to make these dialogs accessible?
- PickColor
- FPShowHideFontPanel
- NavCreateGetFileDialog/NavCreatePutFileDialog
- NavCreateChooseFolderDialog
- PMSessionPageSetupDialog/PMSessionPrintDialog

Thanks.

On Leopard, these are generally much better.

Closing as "Not Eclipse" because these dialogs are all system dialogs, and it would be extremely difficult for us to improve their accessibility.
They are pretty good on Leopard, so the problem is mostly just on Tiger.
Changing title to reflect this, and closing.
