The Team / "Show Annotation" add a blank space near the line number in java editors to show revision/author informations. White and blank means new or modified lines.

"Regular" quick diff with latest CVS revision adds colors on the line number for new/modified/removed lines.

It would be great to have both: instead of white/background color with when showing annotations, using the colors of the "simple" quick diff.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
