Build ID: M20071023-1652 Steps To Reproduce: To switch between editors, views and perspectives, the workbench provides a cycling function that is invoked by Ctrl and a function key. All of these cycling functions recall the last thing selected to allow for rapid cycling back and forth between two items. The cycling functions are Ctrl+F6 - Cycle to Editor Ctrl+F7 - Cycle to View Ctrl+F8 - Cycle to Perspective Do the above steps with Sticky keys enabled. Views, Editors and Perspectives dialog boxes closes before user can do action. Hence the user cannot select between the Views or Editors or Perspectives open. http://help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/concepts/accessibility/navigation.htm (Please see this link for more details) More information: This defect was found during Accessibility testing. Here we try to switch between the editors views or perspectives using the keyboard. This works fine normally. But when you try doing this with sticky keys enabled the selection window appears but vanishes before the user can make any selection. If you keep on pressing the Ctrl key and then try to select then you can do it.But with sticky keys enabled this is not the way to do it.
The Ctrl-F6,7,8 functions are not available to users of Sticky keys. Switching perspectives, editors and views can all be done via Ctrl-3 a an alternative or through thier respective window entries.
We won't be doing anything special to make this feature work with Sticky Keys as there are alternatives.
