Description Frederic Fusier CLA 2007-11-08 03:43:10 EST
Looking at perf results for I20071106-0816 build, I saw that org.eclipse.ant.tests.ui.editor.performance.OpenAntEditorTest#testOpenAntEditor2() is grayed in the global fingerprint.

The comment says: "In 3.0, by default, no folding in the Ant editor. In 3.1, by default folding is on in the Ant editor. See the No folding test.". This is not a valid explanation for regression between 3.3 and 3.4!

So, the comment should be changed or removed...

Thanks Frederic.
Comment 2 Frederic Fusier CLA 2008-01-16 06:11:05 EST
In fact the main thing is that test org.eclipse.ant.tests.ui.editor.performance.OpenAntEditorTest#testOpenAntEditor2() also has a noticeable regression similar to the one noticed in bug 211205
=> change the summary accordingly...

It's currently hidden by the comment which has to be removed as it refers to 3.0...
Comment 3 Darin Swanson CLA 2008-04-16 13:36:43 EDT
I have removed the out of date comment.
Comment 4 Frederic Fusier CLA 2009-03-18 10:57:44 EDT
Close as WONTFIX as there won't be more performance tests on 3.4...
