Description Xavier Méhaut CLA 2007-11-05 06:18:18 EST
Hello,
I would suggest to integrate into the eclipse pltafrom the use of JavaFX syntax (or groovy builder-like syntax) to describe UI in eclipse... It is better than using xml dialect language for achieving this purpose because we can walk throught the AST like any other program develop in java, and it is also more concised...

The adoption of this syntax could benefit to :
* building architecture of a plugin (perspective, views, editor, ...)
* describing the content of the graphical parts (view, editor, menus, ...)

regards
Xavier

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
