Description Mike C CLA 2007-10-30 23:15:53 EDT
When you right click on an Ant file (as registered in the Ant tab), you should have the option to view the Properties for Ant (i.e. the appropriate location in the External Tools windows). Also would like to see a Settings icon for Ant beside the other icons in the Ant tab (i.e. beside the icons Add Buildfiles, Add Buildfiles with Search, Hide Internal Targets, etc...)

This is in response to the bug report here: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=208158

There is a disconnect between the term 'Ant' and the term 'External Tools'. Because 'Ant' is presented in a window of its own, called Ant, not labeled External Tools, I assumed that the configuration for it would also be under Ant in the Properties.

I am not sure if the correct component to register against here is ANT or UI, my apologies if incorrect.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
