This is Task #4 for year 1.

The geographic visualization needs to allow user interaction.  This includes such activities as zooming, pan and selection.

Also implemented in October is a graphical interface using Eclipse User Preferences to persist the location ids of sites a user wishes to monitor. When a user launches a new scenario the time series and phase space views will immediately begin to show reports on the users preferred monitor location list. New locations may be added to the list simply by clicking on the map.
