To reproduce, open any model and go to the design view. Find a coded element with a code attribute, and remove the code attribute. Now Ctrl-X/Ctrl-Y to undo it redo it. undo/redo as fast as you can

Usually within 10 cycles, a NPE occurs, apparently associated with parsing and viewing running into each other.
