Description Tomasz Zarna CLA 2007-10-09 05:14:40 EDT
Build ID: N20071008-0010

When applying a patch (Apply Patch wizard) we could indicate that a hunk was installed out-of-order as compared to the location in the patch.

Matching out-of-order should be used only if an in-order match couldn't be found, but large amount of hunks matched out-of-order may indicate that the patch wasn't applied as expected.

Marking it as dependent on bug 199846 as the patch for the fuzz factor introduces the capability to match hunks out-of-order.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
