Description Amy Wu CLA 2007-10-04 18:18:16 EDT
using wtp 2.0.2 oct 4 build

1. create a new wsdl file
2. create a new port type
3. switch to design view and doubleclick the port type
4. context menu->refactor->rename is disabled and you are not able to refactor rename the port type even though you are able to do this in the design/outline/properties views
5. i've tried clicking around and selecting different text, and i can never seem to get refactor->rename to become enabled in the source page

Amy, the similar scenario in the XSD editor seems to work fine. Let's try to address this usability issue in 3.1.

See some more info here https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=205518#c2
In light of those findings we'll leave this fix for the future.

It seems this was fixed indirectly by the work to make the refactoring context menu extensible. See bug 302640.
