Create one or more extension points that allow others to provide extensions to support reading/writing report definitions, CSS Styles, libraries, and templates to an alternative storage other than the native file system such as a content repository.  The extensions should be able to provide any UI necessary to browse file locations and provide implementation for loading and storing any documents. The extensions must allow for movement of documents between alternate storage mechanisms.

If we were to create the extension point in the birt core code what release would we be able to get it into providing it gets approved?  Would it be possible to get it into the 2.3 release yet?
