Installed F3 and proceeded to checkout projects from CVS.  The first relatively
small project suceeded.  The second, larger project checkout resulted in this error:

The server reported an error while performing the "cvs checkout" command.

Problems encountered performing checkout

Reason:
 : Terminated with fatal signal 10

The log has a message stating that the current CVS version is 1.11 and should be
upgraded to 1.11p1.  There were no other log messages.

Did you set the compression to level 6 by any chance? I seem to recall there 
was a server bug with that.

Compression level is the culprit.  I had it set to 9.  When I turned off
compression I was able to sucessfully checkout the project.
