When changing the settings for JBoss (genuitec.com-plugin) or Ant (in order to 
use a version different from 1.4.1) the settings are lost after closing 
eclipse.

There was a bug like this in F2 but it is fixed in F3. Cannot reproduce.

Which build are you using? 
Like Rodrigo mentions, seems like a dup of 18644.
