Description Alex Boyko CLA 2007-09-12 16:09:48 EDT
1. Open Eclipse in Vista with the Resource perspective.
2. Create 2 empty general projects. (Project1 and Project2)
3. Invoke inline editor on Project1 (either with "F2" or from the context menu "Rename")
4. Type in the new name for Project1
5. Click on Project2 (while CellEditor control is still displayed on Project1 tree item).

Expected: name of Project1 must have been changed to the typed in string (as it would change in Win XP)

Actual: name of Project1 is still Project1 - editing is canceled.

Looks like Selection Event is fired before the Focus Lost is fired on Win Vista.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
