Steps To Reproduce:
1. Set "Attempt to annotate a binary file" option to "No" on Team>CVS>Annotate page.
2. Select a binary file, right-click on it and choose Team>Show Annotation.
=> Nothing happens

I think we should display a message dialog saying something like "Showing annotations for binary files is disabled. If you want to change this, click here<link to the preference page>". Or, which is in my opinion better, but not so trivial, we could simply disable this entry in the menu.

I agree with Tomek's suggestion: disable this entry in the menu.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
