(usability/consistency)

"Perspectives->Edit Perspectives" provides a list dialog but you can't add new ones.
However you can create new ones by doing "Save Perspective As...".

This is inconsistent.  You would expect to be able to also do it from 'edit' also (I certainly did, then noticed "Save as" after).
If there is concern that "new" would have to create an empty one and this for some reason is invalid,
you could support "copy" in the edit dialog.

The menu option does not exist anymore. It became a page in the preferences 
dialog.
