Today, there is a feature to Import/Export the Workspace preferences.

It would be nice if we could also have a feature to better manage the Administration of the Workspace preferences so that preferences can be pushed to all developers and not manually imported.

What about a simplified and generalized import/export facility for workspace settings, together with some auto-import for managed team settings? - See bug 245405 for some ideas on this.
